Do you think this is the same concept Cincy and Oregon are using, with the exception that they seem to curl the slot?Tommynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15377771.post-70464842751725447972009-06-28T19:00:46.362-04:002009-06-28T19:00:46.362-04:00That drive concept was most of NE's passing ga...That drive concept was most of NE's passing game last year. Welker and Moss crossing the same direction high/low, a back clears behind it, and the solo side reads the matchup coverage for fade/go.

If you like the backside matchup take it any time, if not then let it clear for the shallow.

The front read is easy, the shallow converts hot, the back can stay in or be the hot on call, if they zone blitz you get two crossers on the lineman's zone(talk about a mismatch, times two).

It's easy as reading who squeezes the back's route. If he's squeezed from inside take the deep in, if he's squeezed from outside the rotation is weak opposite so throw the shallow open.Mr.Murderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01932924875363684259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15377771.post-23766696408043291172009-06-20T19:35:54.195-04:002009-06-20T19:35:54.195-04:00Run the back to the direction the shallow comes fr...Run the back to the direction the shallow comes from if it is an outside player running it, it tends to compliment the route pushing upfield.Mr.Murderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01932924875363684259noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15377771.post-19166592395689954212009-06-20T16:16:40.893-04:002009-06-20T16:16:40.893-04:00Good article.
